Fish Hunt


Today we went to one of our favorite places here in Chicago, the Shedd Aquarium. We decided to challenge the boys, and make a scavenger hunt for them to play while we were there. If we found all the fish on our sheet we would go out for ice cream afterwards.
This game would work for so many other places, zoos, parks, museums, gardens etc.



First we drew a chart with words and pictures for each fish, animals and plant we wanted to find. Then we made copies for each child. We even found fish stickers to mark each item after we found it.
They had a great time looking at all the sea creatures...
...and marking them on their charts!
We found every single one!!
Now time for ice cream!!!!!

  1. Wow! This is really similar to what we did for my son's birthday party last year when we went to our marine aquarium here in Plymouth, UK!! I made up 3 sheets for different areas/rooms in the aquarium with stickers for each creature and the first kid to find them all in each room got a prize! Great fun, the kids loved it! Looks like yours enjoyed it too!
