Corona Beer Bread

It's Cinco de Mayo! Corona Beer Bread is an easy snack for the festivities!

  • 3 cups flour (sifted)
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder (omit if using Self-Rising Flour)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (omit if using Self-Rising Flour)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) beer (we used Corona)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • Directions:

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Mix dry ingredients and beer.

Pour into a greased loaf pan.

    Pour melted butter over mixture.

Bake 1 hour, remove from pan and cool for at least 15 minutes.

This is perfect on its own or with a spicy cheese dip!

*Please note; be sure to sift your flour to keep your bread from coming out like a brick! The above recipe calls for you to pour the butter on TOP of the bread - this will make the crust more crunchy. Mix the melted butter into the batter if you prefer a softer crust!

    1. Oh that sounds easy & very festive !!! Thanks !!

    2. This recipe is great, the bread is absolutely delicious. It's a little difficult to slice, kind of fell apart a bit, but so good!
