Omelet Mug

School has started and so has the hectic morning routine! But you still want to give your kids a good breakfast that will stay keep them going until lunchtime. So thanks to Allrecipes and this recipe that we've modified you can give your kids a hot breakfast in minutes: an Omelet In A Mug! (yeah, you know we can't resist tasty treats in mugs!)

What You Need:
  • 2 eggs
  • splash of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of cheese (but can you ever have too much cheese??)
  • veggies, meat...whatever else you want to throw in!
  • cooking spray
This is to stinkin' easy! First, spray the inside of your mug with the cooking spray. Then add your two eggs, cheese, milk, and other tasty ingredients. Mix them up and throw your mug into the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute. Stir, then cook for an additional 30 to 60 seconds. And TA-DA! A delicious hot breakfast! How simple is that??

  1. These look awesome! Should I scramble up the eggs before dumping them in the mug? Can't wait to try this!

  2. Easiest breakfast ever! Thanks!

  3. We do this all the time for a quick breakfast! My 8-year-old daughter loves that she can do this by herself. :)

  4. We just made omelets this past weekend and it took sooo long. This is soooo much easier! Thanks for the great idea!

  5. I wonder if you could use 3 egg whites instead of 2 eggs.

  6. Misti you could but why not live dangerously and go for the whole egg lol.

  7. I think I will try this for lunch at work one day! YUM!!
